Saudia to Resume Services to Dhaka, 32 Int’l Destinations in Nov

Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia) will resume service to 33 international destinations in November following the partial lifting of the travel suspension on 15 September, the airline announced on its Twitter account on Friday, reports Saudi Gazette.

Saudi Arabia's national carrier has announced that it will operate international flights to seven western destinations-Amsterdam, Frankfurt, London, Madrid, Paris and Istanbul, and Washington, the capital of the United States. It will flying to and from six destinations in Africa - Addis Ababa, Alexandria, Cairo, Khartoum, Nairobi and Tunisia and thirteen in Asia - Delhi, Dhaka, Guangzhou, Islamabad, Jakarta, Karachi, Kochi, Kuala Lumpur Lahore, Manila, Multan, Mumbai and Peshawar and six destinations in the Middle East - Amman, Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Beirut, Kuwait and Dubai.

Saudia called on all passengers to follow the travel instructions and criteria triggered by the coronavirus pandemic, suggesting that, according to availability, flights are available for booking.

On Sept. 15, following the decision of the Saudi authorities to exclude some categories of Saudis and expatriates from the temporary travel ban imposed since March as part of precautionary steps to curb the spread of coronavirus, the airline resumed international flights.

Accordingly, in coordination with the Ministry of Health and other government agencies, all international airports in the Kingdom have been prepared to operate flights during this phase, the General Authority of Civil Aviation said in a statement earlier.
