COVID-19 Claims 35 More Lives, 2,525 New Cases

Bangladesh logged 35 more deaths from coronavirus in the last 24 hours till Monday 8 a.m.

The country's death toll from the virus is now 6,644, according to a press release issued by the Directorate-General of Health Services (DGHS).

In the meantime, 2,525 people tested positive for Covid-19. The number of new cases of coronavirus in the country is now 464,932.

The country's first cases were reported on 8 March this year and the first virus death was reported on 18 March.

The world entered the eleventh month of the pandemic. At the time of writing, more than 63,126,674 people infected with the virus and nearly 1,466,049 people died.
