Life Imprisonment Means Jail until Natural Death: Appellate Division

The Appellate Division of Supreme Court on Tuesday confirmed that life imprisonment means jail sentence until the natural death of the convict.

The seven-member full bench of SC led by Chief Justice Syed Mahmud Hossain announced the verdict this morning.

The court also stated that in some circumstances, the life sentence could be 30 years.
