COVID-19: Bangladesh Logs 24 More Deaths

Bangladesh reported 24 more deaths from coronavirus in the last 24 hours till Friday 8 a.m.

The country's death toll from the virus is now 6,772, according to a press release released by the Directorate-General of Health Services (DGHS).

In the meantime, 2,252 people tested positive for Covid 19. The number of novel coronavirus cases in the country is now 473,991.

The country's first cases were reported on 8 March this year and the first virus death was reported on 18 March.

The world entered the eleventh month of the pandemic. At the time of writing, more than 64,915,422 people were infected with the virus and nearly 1,500,642 people died.
