Bangladeshi SIM at Tk 500 in Rohingya Camp

SIM cards of different mobile network operators of Bangladesh are easily available in the Rohingya camps in Cox's Bazar just for 500 takas.

Rohingyas are using these numbers in various criminal activities including likes of drug smuggling and human trafficking.

Law enforcers said that they have to face hurdles in investigation using the clue of those numbers.

"We will investigate who is illegally handing over Bangladeshi SIMs to Rohingyas," said Chattogram Range DIG Anwar Hossain.

Legal action will be taken against those who are involved in this illegal business, he said.
