BD Records Lowest Daily New Cases in 7 Months

Bangladesh reports 30 new deaths from the novel coronavirus in a daily count, taking a total number of deaths to 7,428.

Another 834 coronavirus patients tested positive for the infection in the last 24 hours, the lowest in a daily count since 7 months since its outbreak in the country.

The new infections take the tally of infections so far to 508,099.

A press release of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) revealed the data on Saturday afternoon.

In the last 24 hours, 163 coronavirus testing laboratories across the country tested 9,912 samples.

Health authorities reported another 1,685 people recovered from the disease in a day, rising the total number of recoveries to 450,488.
