Rajshahi Municipal Polls: AL Candidates Win in Two, Rebel in One

In elections to three municipalities of Rajshahi, Awami League (AL) candidates won in two seats for the mayoral race while Awami League’s rebel candidate won in one seat.

AL's AKM Ataur Rahman Khan won the elections to Kakanhat municipality of Rajshahi while Abdul Malek Mandal of AL saw a win in the elections to Bhabaniganj municipality.

On the other hand, incumbent mayor and AL rebel candidate Muktar Ali won the elections to Arani municipality of Rajshahi.
