Cold Wave Likely in February's First Quarter

One to two mild to moderate cold wave may sweep across the country in the first part of February.

There may be thunderstorms in the last part of the month, the Met Office reported.

Bangladesh Meteorological Department came up with this information in a weather forecast on Tuesday.

It is learnt that the country is likely to experience less than normal rainfall this month. At the first part of February, one to two mild to moderate cold wave may sweep over the north-western region of the country. The temperature may be recorded 6 to 10 degrees Celsius at that time.   

Thunderstorms may occur one to two days in some parts of the country at the last stage of the February.
