Students to Get Money for Clothe-Shoe after Reopening Schools

Students of government primary schools will get money for buying clothes and shoes.

They will get the money after the opening of their academic institutions. The money will be sent to the mobile phones of their guardians through Nagad. Each student will get Tk 1,000 as kids allowance.

State Minister for Primary and Mass Education Md Zakir Hossain revealed this information after attending an event at his secretariat in the capital.  

Zakir Hossain said it would not have been possible to provide kids allowance Tk 1000 due to the closure of educational institutions amid the COVID-19 outbreak.

''We have added information on all students. The money will be sent to the students after the opening of schools,'' he added.
