Fire Breaks Out at Sher Tower in Banani

A fire broke out at the 14-story Sher Tower of Northern University in Banani of the capital on Monday evening.

Sources said, on information, two firefighting units rushed to the spot to douse the fire.

Fire Service Control Room sources said the fire originated around 6:30 pm.

The fire has been brought under control but could not be doused completely, the sources added.

But the reason behind the fire could not be known immediately.
