Covid-19: 96 Deaths with 5,185 Fresh Cases

Bangladesh has recorded another 96 deaths from Covid-19 in the new single-day count as of Wednesday.

The death toll climbed to 9,987 in the 24 hours to 8:00 am Monday, according to data released by the government.

The country has recorded 5,185 new cases of the coronavirus, taking the tally to 7,03,170.

The country's maiden cases were reported on March 8 last year and the first death from the virus was reported on March 18 that year.
