Shopping Malls to Remain Open till 9:00pm in Dhaka

The government has decided to allow the shops and shopping malls to remain open till 9 pm, instead of 5 pm in Dhaka city.

The decision was taken considering the month of Ramadan so that people can go shopping after Iftar.

Helal Uddin, president of Bangladesh Shop Owners' Association, confirmed the matter to the media on Sunday evening after talking with Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner Shafiqul Islam.
