Plan to Attack Jatiya Sangsad: 2 Held

Counter-Terrorism & Transnational Crime (CTTC) unit have arrested two people including an operative of the banned militant group Ansar al Islam.

Sakib was arrested from Dhaka's Sher-E-Bangla Nagar area at 7:45 pm on Wednesday while Ali Hasan Osama, is known as "Banglar Osama" arrested from the Rajbari district early hours of Thursday.

Sakib was planning to attack on Jatiya Sangsad.

Saiful Islam, a deputy commissioner of DMP's Counter-Terrorism and Transnational Crime unit, confirmed the matter to media.
