Gold Prices Up by Tk 2,333 Per Bhori

The prices of all kinds of gold increased by Tk 2,333 per bhori, in line with the international market, Bangladesh Jewellers' Samity (Bajus) said in a statement.

Bangladesh Jewellers' Association made the announcement on Monday afternoon by issuing a press release signed by the organization's General Secretary Dilip Kumar Agarwal.

The new rate became effective from 1:00 pm on Monday.

As per the new price chart, gold in the local market will be sold at Tk 71,443 per bhori of 22-carat while 21-carat gold at Tk 68,292.72 and 18-carat gold will be sold at Tk 59,544.72.

The traditional (Sanatan) category of gold will be sold at Tk49,022 per bhorii.

However, the prices of silver have remained unchanged.
