2 of a Family Killed in Road Crash in Chattogram

Two members of a family were killed and three others injured after a microbus hit a roadside tree in the Sonapahar area under Mirsarai Upazila of Chattogram on Thursday morning.

One of the deceased was identified as Tahmina, 25.

Injured microbus driver Shahin, 32, Doly, 24 and Ariful, 28, were admitted to Chattogram Medical College and Hospital (CMCH).

Highway Police sources said the Dhaka-bound microbus carrying the victims collided with the roadside tree after its driver lost control over the wheel on Dhaka-Chattogram highway at 5:00 am, leaving five injured.

They were rushed to local Mastannagar Hospital where the on-duty doctor declared two of them dead.
