3 Patients Diagnosed with Indian Variant of Coronavirus

Indian strains of Covid-19 were found after examining samples from three patients in institutional quarantine in Narail and Jashore.

According to a media report on Tuesday, Jashore Science and Technology University Associate Director of Genome Sequencing Prof Dr Iqbal Kabir Zahid validated this information.

''Those arriving from India may bring any form of Indian variant with them. As a result, if the Covid-19 sample is positive, we are attempting to confirm the variant. It would be unwise to let such patients go. Furthermore, we must complete the vaccination activities as rapidly as possible to reduce the risk of infection,'' Dr. Iqbal Kabir added.
