Bangladesh Confirms 38 More Covid-19 Deaths

Bangladesh has logged 38 more Covid-19 deaths in last 24 hours till Saturday 8:00 am, taking the country's death toll 12,549.

However, the fatality rate remained static at 1.57%, according to the data provided by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

Meanwhile, 1,043 more people were infected with Covid-19 in the period, which took the case count to 7,97,386.

The country's maiden cases were reported on March 8 last year and the first death from the virus was reported on 18 March.
