Gas Supply Gets Disrupted in Parts of City

City dwellers of many areas will not get gas on Monday due to maintenance work, according to Titas Gas. 

The areas where gas supply will not be available are Shekhertek, Adabar, Baitur Aman Housing, Mehedi Alif Housing, and all the customers in the adjoining areas will be cut off gas supply and there may be a shortage of gas in the surrounding areas, said a press release of Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company Ltd, reports media.

People of these areas will not get gas for about nine hours from 9:00am to 6:00pm, press release sources.

Earlier, a trial gas shutdown was carried out on Sunday (May 30) from 12:00am to 2:00pm to solve the gas problem of Aman Housing in the eastern part of the capital.
