Dr. Dipu Moni was speaking to reporters after a discussion meeting organized by Swapna Foundation on the occasion of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's release day at the National Press Club on Sunday (June 13).
The
government is thinking about how to take the SSC and HSC exams this year, said
the Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni.
She
said that this time the concern of SSC and HSC candidates is much more. We are
trying to take exams in a short syllabus. If that is not possible then
alternatives are being considered.
She
was speaking to reporters after a discussion meeting organized by Swapna
Foundation on the occasion of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's release day at the
National Press Club on Sunday (June 13).
Dipu
Moni said the educational institution was set to open on June 13. But now the
closure of the educational institutions was required to extend till June 30 due
to the upsurge coronavirus infections in the frontier areas of the country. The
situation is being monitored. The issue of online teaching is ongoing. Trying
to come up with new methods. Students are getting the opportunity to study
through TV, online, and assignments.
Addressing
the students, she said, "I urge the students to continue their normal
studies at home." No decision will be taken that causes loss for the students."
The Education Minister further said that various measures are being taken to overcome the damage being done to the education system due to the closure of educational institutions. When the Coronavirus situation is under control, the educational institution will be opened.
