Lockdown Extended for 7 Days in Natore

Authorities in Natore have extended the lockdown in the district for another week till June 22 in a bid to break the chain of coronavirus transmission.

Natore Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Shahriaz announced the decision at a meeting of Covid-19 protection committee on Tuesday, reports media.

Earlier on June 9, authorities enforced a week-long lockdown in Natore and Singra municipality areas to contain the spread of Covid-19.
