At least five people were killed and seven others injured after a truck collided head-on with a microbus in Narsingdi early Sunday.

The identities of the deceased could not be known yet, reports media.

The accident took place on Tongi-Ghorashal-​Panchdona road at Sakura intersection at around 12:15 am.

Additional superintend of police in Narsingdi Enamul Haque Sagar confirmed the news.
