Electrocuted to death || Photo: Collected
A man and his son died after being electrocuted in Kasba Upazila of Brahmanbaria on Sunday morning.
The deceased were identified as Golam Maula, 35, who was a labourer by profession, and his seven-year-old son Jubayer, hailing from Haturabari area at Baduir union of the Upazila, reports media.
Injured Golam Maula’s wife Shamsunnahar is now undergoing treatment at 250-bed Brahmanbaria General Hospital.
Kasba Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Alamgir Bhuiyan said Golam Maula, his son, and wife came in contact with a live electric wire when they were removing the household goods from an almira at 6:00am, leaving Golam Maula and his minor sin dead on the spot and wife injured.
