Khulna Witness 32 Coronavirus Deaths in The Last 24 Hours

Another 32 people died of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours in the Khulna division, recording the highest death spike in a day in the division. Besides, 903 fresh cases have been reported in Khulna. 

Rasheda Sultana, director of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), confirmed the information on Wednesday afternoon.

According to the Divisional DGHS’s Office, highest 8 people in Khulna, 7 in Jhenaidah, 5 in Chuadanga, 4 in Kushtia, one in Jashore, 3 in Bagerhat, one in Satkhira, one in Narail, and two in Meherpur succumbed to the disease in the last 24 hours.

As of Wednesday afternoon, with the 32 deaths during the period, the death toll from the Covid-19 in the Khulna division stood at 896.

With the 903 fresh cases, the overall caseload in 10 districts of the division has surged to 47,878. A total of 35,175 people have recovered from the virus so far.
