Kushtia Records 17 Covid Deaths in 24 Hrs

Seventeen people have died of coronavirus (Covid-19) infections and coronavirus-like symptoms in the last 24 hours in Kushtia.

Of the deceased, 14 people died of Covid-19 infections while the rest died after showing Covid-19 symptoms, reports media.

Besides, the district logged 292 fresh Covid cases in the past 24 hours till Monday morning.

Dr Tapas Kumar Sarkar, Residential Medical Officer (RMO) of Kushtia General Hospital, confirmed the news.

Earlier in the day, twenty-one more Covid-related deaths were recorded in Kushtia, the district's highest single-day deaths this year.
