RMCH Sees 14 More Covid Related Deaths

Fourteen more Covid patients including five women died in the past 24 hours at Rajshahi Medical College and Hospital till Friday morning, according to the district's health officials.

"Of the deceased, six were Covid-19 positive while eight others died with Covid-like-symptoms, said Brigadier General Shamim Yazdani, director of Rajshahi Medical College and Hospital (RMCH), reports media.

Among the fatalities, seven were from Rajshahi, four from Natore, one each from Pabna, Chuadanga, and Joypurhat district.

With 60 new cases, a total of 522 people are currently undergoing Covid treatment against 454 Covid-dedicated beds hospitals.

Last June, a total of 354 people have died at RMCH.
