Another consignment of some 60 lakh doses of the Pfizer-BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine will arrive in Bangladesh next month.
Health Minister Zahid Maleque made the announcement after visiting Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University Hospital Convention Center, reports media.
He said Bangladesh government has received a letter from the World Health Organization on Friday regarding this.
Earlier, the country received over one lakh doses of Pfizer vaccine via the Gavi Alliance.
On the other hand, 50 lakh doses of Chinese Sinopharm vaccine will arrive in the country either at the end of the current month or beginning of next month, he also said.
