Kushtia Records 23 Covid Deaths in 24 Hrs

Twenty three people have died of coronavirus (Covid-19) infections and coronavirus-like symptoms in the last 24 hours in Kushtia.

Of the deceased, 14 people died of Covid-19 infections while the rest died after showing Covid-19 symptoms, reports media.

Meanwhile, 245 of the 892 samples tested during the same period also came back as positive, yielding an infection rate of 27.47%.

Dr Tapas Kumar Sarkar, Residential Medical Officer (RMO) of Kushtia General Hospital, confirmed the news.
