Tripura CM Sends 800kgs Pineapple for Bangladesh PM

Tripura chief minister Biplab Kumar Deb has sent 800 kgs of pineapple for Bangladesh prime minister Sheikh Hasina as a gift.  

On Sunday morning Tripura government high officials handed over the gift to Udat Jha, second secretary of assistant high commission office of India in Chittagong, reports media.

There are 400 pineapple in 100 packets.

This kind of pineapple, named kew and queen, is collected from Kumarghat and Ompi areas of Tripura.

Tripura’s industries and tourism director Tarit Kanti Chakma, horticulture and soil conservation director Foni Bhosan Jamatia, Akhaura land port assistant director Mustafizur Rahman, and customs revenue officer Mohammad were present at the programme.
