Journo Tanu Gets Bail in DSA Case

A court in Thakurgaon has granted bail to Journalist Tanveer Hasan Tanu in a case filed under the Digital Security Act (DSA).

After hearing the police's five-day remand plea and the defendant's bail request, district Senior Chief Judicial Magistrate Arifur Rahman issued the order.

Mahabur Rahman, Tanu's elder brother, verified the news on Sunday (July 11).

After covering a report on problems in food distribution among coronavirus patients at Thakurgaon Sadar Hospital, journalist Tanu was sued under the DSA and arrested.
