Covid-19 Vaccination: Sinopharm from Today, Moderna Tomorrow

Mass inoculation with the first dose of Covid-19 vaccines resumed across the country including in Dhaka on Monday.

Of the vaccines, administering Sinopharm started today while Moderna from tomorrow (Tuesday), reports media.

“The mass inoculation for Covid-19 vaccines will be resumed from Monday. We have completed all necessary preparations to this end,” Dr. Md. Shamsul Haque, Line Director (MNC & AH) of Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) said while speaking at health bulletin on Sunday.

He said administering the first dose of Sinopharm vaccines will be started in districts and upazilas across the country from July 12.

The DGHS official said inoculation with Moderna vaccines will be started in city corporation areas of the country from July 13.

He said the administering the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccines are already being held for migrant workers in seven hospitals in the capital.
