Highest Number of Covid-19 Cases Logged in Barishal Division in a Day

Barishal has logged the highest number of Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours.

The district has recorded 879 new cases of the coronavirus, taking the tally to 23,563.

Besides, a total of 15 people died from coronavirus infections in the division over the period, taking the number of total deaths to 356. 

Among them, 11 died at Sher-E-Bangla Medical College and Hospital (SBMCH).

Divisional Health Director Dr Basudev Kumar Das confirmed the matter.

According to SBMCH authorities, 53 more patients were admitted to the hospital in 24 hours till Tuesday morning.

Besides, 311 covid patients are currently undergoing treatment at the corona unit of the SBMCH.
