Navy Distributes Eid Gifts among Poor People in Saint Martin

In response to the Coronavirus situation, the Bangladesh Navy (BN) today distributed Eid gifts to the local destitute and helpless families of the Saint Martin island.

BN warship BNS Swadhinata under Commander BN Fleet provided Eid clothing and food aid to 400 helpless families of the island. Saree, lungi, panjabi and children's clothes were distributed as Eid gift items, reports BSS.
In addition, each family received vermacelli, sugar and powdered milk as food aid.
BN has been helping the destitute and poor people in remote areas to deal with the coronavirus crisis. They will continue these activities until the Covid-19 situation improves.
