Fake Medical Scientist Ishita, Associate Put on 6-Day Remand

In two separate charges filed regarding fraudulence, a court in Dhaka placed physician Ishrat Rafiq Ishita and her associate Shohidul Islam Dinar on six-day remand each.

On Monday, Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Ashek Imam issued the order (August 2).

Earlier, Shah Ali police station Investigation Officer (IO) Sub Inspector Masud Rana presented the accused to the court, requesting a 5-day remand in a case. In another case, Sub Inspector Aminul Islam requested a five-day remand.

RAB-4 members arrested Ishrat and Didar from Mirpur in the city on Sunday morning. During that time, fake identity cards, visiting cards, certificates, passports, yaba tablets, and foreign liquor were discovered in their possession.
