The Court has allowed remand of actress Pori Moni for 4
days in case filed under Narcotics Control Act.
They were taken to the Dhaka Chief Metropolitan
Magistrate (CMM) court at 8.25pm on
Thursday (August 5).
Magistrate Mamunur Rashid of the Dhaka Chief
Metropolitan Court passed the order after the hearing.
The police had applied for a seven-day remand. Several
lawyers, including Nilanjana Refat Survi, opposed it. However, the court
rejected it.
Earlier, a police vehicle carrying them left Banani
police station for the lower court at 8pm. The other two who are with Pori Moni
and Raj are Ashraful Islam Dipu and Sobuj Ali.

Azam Mia said they have been sent to court after filing separate cases against
Parimani, Raj and the other two.
On Wednesday (August 4) night, RAB raided their Banani houses
and detained them. Huge quantities of drugs and foreign alcohol were recovered
from their flats.
