BFIU Seeks Prothom Alo Journalist Rozina's Bank Statement

The Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU) has sought information about the bank account of Rozina Islam, a senior journalist of Prothom Alo.

This information was sought by sending a letter to the banks operating in the country on Tuesday (August 10).

Rozina Islam's name in the national identity card is Rozina Akhter. However, there is no change in the names of Rozina Islam's father and mother. According to the national identity card, the permanent address of Rozina Akhter (Rozina Islam) is Kundihar, Post Office and Thana Banaripara, District Barisal.

The permanent address and national identity card or TIN number along with the names of Rozina Islam's parents have been mentioned in the BFIU letter.

The letter said that if any account has been conducted in the past or present in the name of Rozina Islam and her personal interest organization, all the information of those accounts (account opening form with all documents, KYC, transaction profile, updated transaction statement from the beginning) has been sought.
