Ashraful Haque Chowdhury Appointed Coast Guard's New DG

Rear Admiral Ashraful Haque Chowdhury has been appointed as the new Director General (DG) of the Bangladesh Coast Guard.

An order was issued by the Ministry of Public Administration on Tuesday (August 17) appointing the Navy officer and assigning him to the Public Security Division.

Coast Guard Director General Rear Admiral M Ashraful Haque has been assigned to the Armed Forces to return to the Navy.

In another order, Commodore M Saidur Rahman, Chief Waste Management Officer of Dhaka North City Corporation, has been assigned to the Armed Forces to take him back to the Bangladesh Army.

Captain SM Sharif-ul Islam has been appointed as the new Chief Waste Management Officer of Dhaka North City Corporation.

With this appointment, his job has been assigned to the local government department.
