Govt Putting Efforts to Turn Population into Human Resources: Dipu Moni

Education Minister Dr. Dipu Moni today said the government is putting continuous efforts to turn the country’s large population into human resources with the combined technical knowledge and skills to match with the current jobs demand of the globe.   

“We must take advantage from the 4th Industrial Revolution as it changes remarkably both in the domestic and international job markets,” she said while virtually inaugurating the Chartered Accountants (CA) students and members’ placement automation of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB).

“Nothing is vital than building human resources,” she said, adding that youths are receiving technical education and vocational training.  

The minister also said the government is creating scopes of jobs availability, updating curriculum for quality education.

ICAB President Mahmudul Hasan Khusru delivered the welcome speech while council member and former president Kamrul Abedin conducted the programme.    

Besides, ICAB CEO Shubhashish Bose and Vice President Abdul Kader Joaddar also spoke on the occasion. (BSS)
