Trial Begins against Abdul Mannan Khan, Wife

In two separate cases filed against them for illegally amassing money, a special court in Dhaka has prepared accusations against Abdul Mannan Khan, former State Minister for Public Works in the Awami League government, and his wife Hasina Sultana. The accused's formal trial began at this point.

On Sunday, Judge Mohmmad Ali Hossain of Dhaka's Special Judge Court-3 issued the ruling after dismissing a petition requesting relief from the case (September 26).

The matter will be heard on October 18th, according to the court.

The matter was validated by Mir Ahmed Ali Salam, prosecutor of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).
