The court has sent Islamic Orator Mufti Kazi Ibrahim to jail after ending the remand period in a digital security act (DSA) case filed with Mohammadpur police station.

On Saturday (October 2nd), Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Shahinur Rahman's court denied bail and ordered him sent to jail.

Earlier, the investigating officer of the case, SI Mohammad Hasanuzzaman of the Cyber and Special Crime Division of the DB Police, produced Kazi Ibrahim in court after remand and requested him to be kept in jail. Advocate Abdur Razzak applied for bail on behalf of Kazi Ibrahim. Bail was opposed by the state. After hearing both sides, the court denied bail and ordered him to be sent to jail.
