HC Orders to Close All Haunts of Rajarbagh Pir
The High Court has directed
to close the main haunt of Pir Dillur Rahman in Rajarbagh alongside his branch haunts scattered in different parts of the country so that the people are not
deceived in the name of religion and the money and property of innocent people
are not seized by false charges.
Besides, the Anti-Corruption
Commission (ACC) has been directed to identify the assets of Pir Dillur Rahman
of Rajarbagh and his organizations in different parts of the country and inform
the court about the source of the assets.
At the same time, the Counter
Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) Unit of police have been asked to
submit a report to find out whether there is any militant organization under
the ulama Anjuman Bayyinat or a different name under the auspices of Pir and
his patrons.
The ACC and the CTTC Unit
have been asked to comply with the order before November 30.
A written copy of the order
issued by the High Court on September 19 was released on Monday (October 4).
