The Kingdom of Bahrain has decided to remove Bangladesh from the countries of travel red list.

The decision will come into effect from Sunday (October 10), said Md Nazrul Islam, ambassador of Bangladesh to Bahrain, in a tweet.

He wrote, “Thanks to Corona Taskforce team of the Kingdom of Bahrain removing Bangladesh from red list countries starting from 10 October 2021.

“Hope under wise leadership of both nations, people will return to economic activities with maintaining covid guidelines!”, the ambassador added.

Meanwhile, the British government has included Bangladesh in the list of countries with approved proof of Covid-19 vaccination, effective from October 11.

With the initiative, fully vaccinated Bangladesh nationals will no longer have to self-isolate on arrival in the UK, reports UNB.

On September 17, Bangladesh was removed from the UK government's travel red list, which came into effect at 4:00am on September 22.
