Ferry Capsized: Salvage Operations Start for 4th Day

The salvage operations for RoRo ferry Shah Amanat, which capsized at Paturia Ghat in Manikganj, began for the fourth day on Saturday morning.

The salvage operations began at 8.00 am on the morning.

BIWTA’s RoRo ferry Shah Amanat capsized near Paturia's fifth ferry terminal while preparing to dock on Wednesday morning. It was carrying 14 goods-laden trucks and four motorcycles at the time. 12 vehicles have been recovered so far.
