Everyone involved in the
recent incidents of communal violence in the country has been identified. That
is what Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal said.
He made the remarks at the
inaugural and discussion meeting of Community Policing Day at Rajarbagh on
Saturday (October 30th) at noon. The home minister said that the people need to
be more aware to build a crime-free society.
Noting that cybercrime is on
the rise, the Home Minister urged to expand the range of cyber units to control
it. Although the community policing activities were delayed due to Coronavirus,
the community policing system is moving forward by overcoming all obstacles,
the minister said.
Police IGP Dr Benazir Ahmed
spoke on the occasion. He said the people of the militancy cannot go deep into country
because the people in the country are peace loving. The IGP also said that
people's involvement with the police is needed to create a society free from
fear and crime.
