Trial of Arrestees in Communal Attacks Will Be Completed Soon: AG

Attorney General AM Amin Uddin today said the trial of those arrested in connection with the recent communal attacks will be completed within the quickest possible time, reports BSS.

He said this while talking to journalists after joining a reception of fresh lawyers at Daffodil International University at Dattapara in Savar on the capital’s outskirts.

Amin Uddin said the arrestees in the incidents of communal attacks will be tried under the country’s existing laws. If the new law is formulated, it will delay the trial process, he mentioned.

Daffodil International University Trustee Board Chairman Sabur Khan was also present on the occasion.
