Diesel-Powered Bus Fare To Be Increased from Monday

Fares for diesel-powered long-haul buses have been rising since Monday (November 8th). It will be 1 taka 80 paisa per kilometer. Bus fares in Dhaka and Chattogram are being increased by Tk 2.15 per km.

BRTA chairman Nur Mohammad Majumder told reporters after a meeting at the BRTA building on Sunday (November 8th) at 5 pm.

He told reporters that the new fare rate will be effective from Monday. A notification will be issued today for this. He said CNG-powered bus and minibus fares would not increase.
