Police Receives Information of Persuading Iqbal in Cumilla Incident

Police have got information to persuade Iqbal in the Cumilla incident. However, the mad man, vagabond Iqbal could have done this without any persuasion, said DMP Commissioner Md Shafiqul Islam.

He made the remarks at the Shadow Parliament on Saturday (November 13) morning at BFDC to prevent communal violence through mass-awakening.

The DMP commissioner said the responsibility of the police in the Cumilla incident could not be avoided. He said he would investigate the matter.

The DMP commissioner further said that it is not possible to defeat these crimes by law alone. We need Familial and social education to prevent it. He also said that proper use of Facebook can reduce these crimes.

Hasan Ahmed Chowdhury Kiran presented this shadow parliament. Prime Asia University and Cumilla University participated in the parliament.
