Govt Publishes Highest VAT Payers List

The Ministry of Finance released a list of the nine corporations that paid the most VAT in the fiscal year 2019–20 on Wednesday.

Aristropharma Ltd, Square Toiletries Ltd, Maya Biri Factory, SM Motors, AMCO BAJAJ International, Mabs Union Motors Ltd, edotco Bangladesh Co Ltd (Bangladesh Infrastructure Company Ltd), Grey Advertising Bangladesh Ltd, and Robert Bosch Bangladesh Limited are among the companies.

Along with these nine corporations, the government has also released the names of 102 top VAT-paying businesses from 12 Customs, Excise, and Vat Commissionerates around the country.

At the national level, the highest VAT paying companies are classified into three categories: manufacturing, business, and service.

On the occasion of National VAT Day on December 10th, the National Board of Revenue  (NBR) will honor all of the organizations.
