115-Year-Old Anwara Begum Casts Vote in B'baria

Anwara Begum, the most elderly woman of Shahbajpur village in Brahmanbaria's Nabinagar, cast her vote on Sunday during the Union Parishads election in the third phase, reports media.

The 115-year-old Anwar Begum, wife of late Jalal Uddin at the village, came to Shahbajpur Government Primary School polling center this morning for voting.

After casting vote, the elderly woman said, "I came to cast my vote as the environment of the polling centre is favorable. May be it is my last vote in my life.".
