Khaleda Zia's Medical Report Sent Abroad for Review: Momen

Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen has said that BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia's medical report has been sent abroad. He said that if Khaleda Zia wants to go abroad, she has to go through a legal process.

He made the remarks while addressing reporters at the state guest house Padma on Monday (November 29).

Earlier, Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen held a meeting with diplomats from different countries.

After the meeting, he told reporters that Khaleda Zia is a prisoner. Khaleda Zia can take treatment anywhere in the country. However, if she wants to go abroad, she has to follow the legal process. Besides, she can bring doctors from abroad for treatment if she wants.

The meeting discussed on Covid situation the transition from LDC, the Rohingya crisis with the foreign diplomats. The meeting also discussed Khaleda Zia's treatment.
