Police successfully managed to rescue all four abducted students from the Teknaf’s Shalbon area in Cox's Bazar on Saturday, reports media.

Confirming the matter, Cox’s Bazar Armed Police Battalion Unit-16 Commanding Officer Tarikul Islam said 14-year-old Mizanul Islam was the last to be rescued among the four students, who were abducted from Cos'x Bazar's Ramu area on Tuesday.

Police also detained three Rohingya nationals for their suspected involvement with the abduction.

Mohammad Kaiser, 14, Jahedul Islam, 15, and Mizanur Rahman Nayan, 14, were rescued on Friday night from Teknaf.

After rescuing the three schoolchildren, the search continued throughout the night before Mizanul was rescued in the early hours on Saturday.

The four schoolchildren were reportedly abducted by two Rohingyas in Teknaf Huaikeng area.

According to the missing complaint filed with Ramu police station, two Rohingyas-- Jahangir Alam and Ibrahim from Ramu -- befriended the 4 boys and took them to Teknaf Huaikeng area on Tuesday around 10:00 am under the guise of making a trip to St Martin's Island.

Since then, the four could not be traced. On Wednesday, the relatives of the school kids were contacted from unknown numbers for a ransom of Tk 20 lakh.
